Indicated for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease to alleviate bronchospasm and support airway clearance.
Mechanism of Action
Salbutamol stimulates beta-2 receptors in bronchial smooth muscle, causing relaxation. Ipratropium antagonizes acetylcholine at muscarinic receptors, preventing cholinergic-mediated bronchoconstriction. Together, they provide synergistic bronchodilation.
