Mechanism of Action
Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin, increasing levels of beneficial natriuretic peptides. Valsartan blocks the AT1 receptor to inhibit the harmful effects of angiotensin II. Together, they promote vasodilation and reduce fluid retention.
