Mechanism of Action
Baricitinib is a selective and reversible Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. By blocking the activity of JAK1 and JAK2, it prevents the phosphorylation and activation of signal transducers and activators of transcription (STATs), thereby reducing cytokine-mediated inflammation.
